A memorial prayer service will be held on the Kansas University campus for the victims of last week’s terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India.
The event will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the Relay Room of the Burge Union.
Special remembrance will be paid to Rabbi Gavriel Noach Holtzberg and his wife, Rivka, who ran the Chabad of Mumbai, and were among the people killed last week.
The service is being sponsored by the Chabad at KU, KU Hillel, the Lawrence Jewish Community Center and KU's Department of Jewish Studies.
The service originally had been scheduled later in the day at the KU Chabad.
