Walgreens axed from city commission agenda
At their meeting Tuesday night, city commissioners won’t hear plans for a new Walgreens drug store at the southwest corner of Clinton Parkway and Crossgate Drive.
A rezoning request and a comprehensive plan amendment were scheduled to be heard by commissioners at their meeting Tuesday, but an applicant for the project on Monday requested that the items be deferred. A new date for the commission to hear the issues hasn’t been set.
