To the editor:

Lawrence’s representatives to Congress, Nancy Boyda (2nd District) and Dennis Moore (3rd District) are back in Kansas to hear what we, their constituents, think about local, national and global issues. They’re here because Congress is in “recess'” which is designed for exactly this purpose.

Contact their offices and find out where they will be and when, to hear what they have been doing about problems you are worried about – energy policy that affects Kansas, for example – and tell them about problems you want them to tackle. This is your chance, rather than lobbyists in Washington, to get their ear.

Congresswoman Boyda and Congressman Moore are putting in long days to get their messages across and to hear from you. Take advantage of it!
