Motorcyclist injured on Clinton Parkway

A 35-year-old man was treated and released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital after suffering minor injuries in a one-vehicle motorcycle crash Wednesday morning on Clinton Parkway, just west of Crestline Drive.

According to police, Joshua Walters was riding his new Harley-Davidson motorcycle east on Clinton Parkway just before 11 a.m. when he apparently lost control while changing lanes and crashed on the grass median of the parkway. No other vehicles were involved.

Walters had not been wearing a helmet.

The accident caused one lane of traffic to be blocked in each direction for about 20 minutes.
