Applications for Lawrence’s virtual school due Friday

Applications for Lawrence Virtual School's program for kindergartners through eighth-graders are due by 4 p.m. Friday.
Applications can be found at http://www.k12.com, where the enrollment can begin online.
Jana Lloyd, a specialist at the school, said parents must print the paperwork and take it to the school, 2145 La. The child's birth certificate, immunization records and other required documents must be included in the application packet. Children also must complete a placement test by 4 p.m. Friday. It costs $97 a year to attend the virtual school.
