Special story
To the editor:
I was greatly touched when I saw the recent story about Ryan Gray in the Pulse section. I, too, am a bereaved parent. My son, Wesley Hein, passed away in March 2005. I remember Ryan’s story from 1990. The story is truly touching, and one to be proud of. Parents are truly blessed to be able to spend the time that we do as parents. While I would have liked to see my boy grow up, as he was only 6 when he passed away, I am now attending KU to become a special education teacher. I have gained true inspiration and the will to go on even in the darkest of times from children such as Wesley and Ryan.
