For the second time in a week, the Free State High baseball team has seen rain wash out its chance to play, as today’s game against Olathe South has been canceled.

Although very little rain fell today, Wednesday’s showers soaked the FSHS field, leaving the grounds unplayable.

The Firebirds and Falcons will make up the game at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30 at FSHS.

Next up for the Firebirds (9-1) is a trip to Blue Valley Northwest on Friday.

First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
