March for Babies to benefit research
March of Dimes will host its March for Babies fundraiser Saturday.
Money goes to research to help premature babies survive. According to the March of Dimes, nearly 5,000 families in Kansas are affected by premature birth.
Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the march begins at 9 a.m. at South Park, near 12th and Massachusetts streets. There is a 1-mile and 3-mile route.
