Extra officers to be on lookout for DUIs
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a saturation patrol Saturday.
Extra officers will be patrolling for traffic violators, including those driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
“It covers pretty much everything,” Lt. Kari Wempe said about what officers will be looking for.
Wempe would not say how many officers will be on patrol.
