Another parade?
To the editor:
Congratulations to the 2008 Jayhawk basketball team, coaches, and staff! I cheered right through the NCAA Tournament and was ecstatic when KU won the national championship. The parade on Sunday was a fine way to laud their accomplishment.
Now, how about a parade for the dedicated and talented faculty, staff and administrators at Kansas University? Without them, there could be no school, and therefore no team sports program, to cheer on. Perhaps the team members of the basketball, football and other sports could organize a celebration dedicated to honoring their teachers and tutors.
