Football Hawks
To the editor:
I attended the parade Sunday and was in awe of the fantastic turnout for our national champion Kansas Jayhawks! Everyone there needs to be commended as the people, around us anyway, were polite and extremely nice. Not bad considering the amount of people there. The turnout was awesome.
My only complaint is where was the football team? Hey, they only lost one game and won the Orange Bowl. I think they should have been added in on this great celebration, after their great year! Maybe next year.
Congratulations to the national champs and to the Orange Bowl champs. Go Hawks!
