‘Maximum Impact’ to teach leadership

Business executives, institutional managers and leaders of other employment venues aren’t the only ones who can benefit from leadership training and advice offered by local and national experts, James Bush says.

Teachers in Lawrence public schools can pick up credit, too.

“I think one of the benefits is helping people think outside the box, and eventually to ask: There is a box?” said Bush, local organizers of the “Maximum Impact” leadership simulcast, set to be shown Friday in Lawrence. “Everyone benefits from that kind of thing.”

Teachers can pick up 4.5 hours of continuing-education credits for attending the program, set to run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at Free Methodist Church, 3001 Lawrence Ave.

Cost is $59 in advance, or $79 at the door.

The event will include a lunch provided by Maceli’s and a live lunch-hour leadership discussion featuring local leaders.

For tickets or more information, contact Bush at 760-2031, or the church office, 842-2343.
