Forum to focus on death preparations
The Lawrence Area Coalition to Honor End of Life Choices will have a forum in recognition of National Healthcare Decision Day from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt.
The forum will focus on planning for death, such as preparing a living will and health care. A panel of experts from the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Team, social services and funeral directors will be in attendance to answer questions and provide tools for making decisions to prepare for death.
Pattie Johnston of the Lawrence Public Library will moderate the question-and-answer forum in the library’s auditorium.
