Patriots Day Parade is Saturday in McLouth

The 10th Annual McLouth Patriots Day Parade is set for Saturday.

Two main features include the Kansas Sons of the American Revolution Color Guard, who will participate in the parade, and the Fort Riley Second Brigade, 1st Armored Division Unmanned Aerial Systems Platoon, which will display its equipment, including a plane.

The day begins with a pancake feed from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The attractions begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m.

The children’s parade begins at 11 a.m., the Cub Scouts Soap Box Derby begins at 11:30 a.m. and the main parade begins at 1 p.m.

Other features include a quilt show, a military memorabilia display, a Friends of the Library Bake Sale, craft booths and a giant slide and moonwalk.
