Transit support
To the editor,
Though I was pleased to see that Mayor Mike Dever believes in the importance of the city’s transit system, I was also disheartened at his suggestion that, at a time when gasoline prices have hit unprecedented highs, the city may have to make drastic cuts to it. Wouldn’t doing all in your power to improve mass transit be a more logical, forward-thinking solution?
