Chris Mensch, Lawrence, is among three members elected to the Kansas Horse Council’s Board of Directors during EquiFest of Kansas, conducted Feb. 29-March 2 in Wichita.

Also elected were Jill Archer, McPherson; and Shanda Draper, Colby.

The council, founded in 1962, works to be the voice of the horse industry in Kansas by providing leadership and direction through education, promotion and public policy advocacy.
