Self snub
To the editor:
I can appreciate that the big story this week, at least in the newspaper, is Kansas University basketball vs. Roy. What I don’t understand is why the basketball team and Coach Self don’t seem to be getting equal press, (above the fold) and that daddy Dean’s influence on the decision five years ago is overlooked. I remember Roy being quoted as saying that he asked Dean if he agreed with the decision as they were flying back from California. I hope Coach Self thinks more of the reception the team received on their return at 1 a.m. Monday than the articles in the Journal-World.
