Lisa Ling, an acclaimed journalist and National Geographic Channel correspondent for the documentary series Explorer, will be speaking Thursday at Kansas University’s Lied Center.

Ling is also a correspondent on The Oprah Winfrey Show and was a former co-host on The View daytime talk show.

Her lecture, which is open to the public, begins at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Lied Center, 1600 Stewart Drive.

Admission is $10 for the general public and is free for students with a KU ID.
