Lawrence Memorial Hospital announces the addition of two physicians to its active medical staff.

Dr. Vance R. Burns has joined Lawrence Hospitalist Physicians after having served as an assistant professor of general and geriatric internal medicine at Kansas University Medical Center. He also served as medical director of inpatient services at KUMC. He received his undergraduate degree from KU and his medical degree from KU Med.

Joining Lawrence Emergency Medicine Associates is Dr. Darin J. Elo, who worked previously at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.; St. John’s Hospital, Leavenworth; and Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Mo. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Colorado and completed his medical degree with high distinction from the University of K
