The Lawrence Parks and Recreation annual Fish’N 4 Fun fishing derby has been postponed to Saturday because of inclement weather.

The derby is open to children under age 13. The cost for each angler is $5, and children are asked to provide their own fishing poles and bait.

A license is required for adults who plan to fish. All fish caught will be released. Lunch will be provided, and prizes will be given away.

The derby will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Mary’s Lake, 31st Street and Haskell Avenue.
