The first March of Dimes Golf Challenge is set for 1 p.m. Oct. 10 at Alvamar Golf Club, 1900 Crossgate Drive.

The challenge will be a four-person scramble with prizes for top teams in each flight as well as the longest drive, closest to the pin and longest putt. The event costs $95 per person or $380 per team. This includes greens fees, cart, refreshments and a dinner buffet.
