To the editor:
Finally, an above-the-fold headline that really matters! Kudos for bumping the story about funding for children’s health insurance to section B. Likewise on the Tiller investigation. This kind of editorial decision-making has made the Journal-World my choice in Lawrence. Everyone knows this is news. But the LJW took that extra step to call out unethical conduct by placing it up front for all to see.
It is comforting to know that any inadvertently intercepted e-mails sent by our community leaders, such as the LJW editorial staff, will receive the same tough treatment. Tonganoxie is now a better place.
