Omaha, Neb. ? Free State had four athletes with top-10 finishes, propelling the Firebirds to third place on the girls side and sixth on the boys side at the Millard South cross country invitational on Saturday.

Kyra Kilwein was third and Hayley Francis 10th for the FSHS girls, who had 77 points.

Omaha Marian won with 58, and Omaha Millard North was second with 73.

Logan Sloan and Gabe Moss finished fourth and sixth respectively to lead the Free State boys.
