Community recreation centers run by the Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will close at 5 p.m. today for Halloween.
The centers to close include the Community Building, 115 W. 11th St.; East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 E. 15th St.; and Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 W. 27th St.
Facilities will reopen Thursday morning at their regularly scheduled operating hours.
The Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Dr., will maintain its fall hours and will close at its regular time of 7:45 p.m.
