Lawrence attorney to work for Obama
Lawrence attorney Dan Watkins has been named senior adviser for the Kansas presidential campaign of U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill.
Watkins, a longtime Democratic Party activist and community volunteer, said, “Barack Obama is the candidate in the race who will deliver change Kansans can believe in.”
He will work with field organizers to try to win for Obama the Kansas Democratic Party caucus Feb. 5.
