Beginning Monday, The Salvation Army will take applications for people who need assistance with Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Applications can be completed at The Salvation Army Corps and Community Center, 946 N.H.

People who apply must provide a photo ID, proof of residency, proof of income and Social Security cards for all members of the household.

The last day to apply for Thanksgiving assistance is Nov. 9.

The last day to sign up for Christmas assistance is Dec. 7.
