Lawrence commuter report

The following construction projects may affect commuter traffic in the region this week:

Interstate 70 east of Topeka will experience intermittent lange closures because of resurfacing. All lanes will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Lane changes will occur on Kansas Highway 7 between U.S. Highway 24 and Kansas Highway 10 because of resurfacing.

Ramp closures will occur near the intersection of I-70 and Interstate 635 because of bridge joint expansion.

North 400 Road at East 1037 Road will be closed for culvert replacement.

U.S. Highway 59 between Lawrence and into Franklin County will have delays because of resurfacing.

The following projects may affect city traffic this week:

Concrete repairs on 23rd Street from Haskell Avenue east to the city limits will restrict traffic.

Annual mill and overlay

City crews will be affecting traffic along the following streets because of the annual mill and overlay project. Expect traffic interruptions or reductions on Miller Drive between Maple Lane and 19th Street, Brook Street between Maple Lane and Miller Drive, Ousdahl Road between 19th and 25th streets, and 24th Street between Naismith Drive and Ousdahl Road.
