Robert Novak to speak at Dole Institute

Longtime political reporter Robert Novak will make an appearance Tuesday in Lawrence.

The Dole Institute of Politics will host “An Evening with Robert D. Novak” at 7:30 p.m. on Kansas University’s West Campus.

Novak, a conservative reporter and commentator, has worked in Washington, D.C., for decades. He is a syndicated columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times and writes “Inside Report.”

He also gained publicity in 2003 for naming CIA operative Valerie Plame in a column as the wife of Joseph Wilson.

After the free and public event, Novak will sign copies of his book, “The Prince of Darkness: 50 Years Reporting in Washington.”
