The annual Douglas County Extension Council election is set for 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Extension Office, 2110 Harper St.

The election will fill the Extension Council seats. Each year 12 people are selected. Any Douglas County resident age 18 or older is eligible to vote and/or serve on the council. A committee has selected the following nominees:

¢ Agriculture: Rich Barr, Luke Ulrich, and Mike Wintermantel.

¢ Family and Consumer Science: Jennifer Mitchell, Jane Fevurly, and Ann Chapman.

¢ Economic Development: Bob Rhoton, Ann Peuser, and Paul Groundwater.

¢ 4-H Youth Development: Trent Flory, Craig Shultz, and Keri Cheek.
