The Lawrence Community Shelter will host Chocolate & Tea at Three 2007 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 4 at SpringHill Suites by Marriott, 1 Riverfront Plaza.
Mary and Mike Easterday will be presented with the Lawrence Community Shelter's Don Huggins Volunteer of the Year award.
There will be tea and coffee and a buffet of chocolate treats donated by area chefs and bakers. Auctions will support the Lawrence Community Shelter, which provides services to people experiencing homelessness in Lawrence.
Tickets are $15 per person, or $25 per group of two and can be purchased at the event or in advance by check mailed to: Lawrence Community Shelter, 214 W. 10th St., Lawrence 66044.
