Rep. Tom Sloan should be thanked for his foresight and initiative in organizing the Kansas Reservoir Summit held in Lawrence on Wednesday. We need more leaders like Sloan who are wise enough and care enough about the long-term sustainability and viability of our state resources. As an attendee of the meeting, I was very impressed with the high level of federal and state participation, and anticipate that it will lead to positive results for our state. Thanks Tom! Keep up the good work.
