Shawnee — Free State soccer's team played Shawnee Mission Northwest to a 1-1 tie Thursday night.
Alex Clayton scored off an assist from Erik Slan with five minutes remaining as Free State erased a 1-0 deficit.
Free State (10-5-1) will play a home game Tuesday in the regional playoffs.
