KU Credit Union is conducting a Shred Fest from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at both of its branches in Lawrence: 3400 W. Sixth St. and 2221 W. 31st St.

People with unwanted sensitive documents and computer discs may bring them to a fest location, where the items will be shredded and disposed of by a professional shredding company.

People can bring up to two boxes of materials for shredding.
