Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 39-year-old Lawrence woman reported a theft of services worth $1,936 from Meineke, 2535 Iowa. The incident occurred on Tuesday.

¢ A 16-foot black and wood trailer worth $2,000 was reported stolen from the 500 block of Michigan Street. A 32-year-old Lawrence woman reported the theft that occurred between 4 p.m. Oct. 5 and 7:30 a.m. Monday.

¢ A 54-year-old Westar Energy employee reported the theft of copper grounding wire and damage to a chainlink fence from the 500 block of Vermont. The wire, valued at $2400, was property of Westar. Damage to the fence is estimated at $200. According to a Lawrence police report, the incident occurred between midnight on Sept. 10 and 11 a.m. Wednesday.
