Olathe — Free State High's soccer team fell to Olathe East, 2-0, on Thursday.
"Overall we played with determination and high energy and were able to create a number of dangerous scoring chances, but were unable to convert those into goals," coach Jason Pendleton said. "We made two mistakes and they punished us by converting them into goals."
Free State (9-5) will meet Olathe North at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Firebirds' field.
