Cheryl Wonnell, owner of Creative Advertising Inc., Lawrence, passed the certification examination administered by Promotional Products Association International to receive the Master Advertising Specialist (MAS) industry certification.

The certification is the only recognized credential in the promotional products industry and signifies that an individual has reached and continues to meet a high standard of professionalism, knowledge and experience within the industry.

The certification requires completion of a 170-hour curriculum, five years of experience in the promotional products industry and a passing score on an exam. Wonnell has been in the industry 23 years.
