Tour to help benefit Humane Society
A Fall Foliage Motorcycle Tour, a benefit for the Lawrence Humane Society, is set for Sunday.
Motorcyclists will tour northeastern Kansas, passing though such cities and towns as Atchison, Troy, Sparks, Highland, Hiawatha, Holton and Topeka.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of Checker’s Food, 23rd and Louisiana streets. The tour departs at 10 a.m. and is expected to return to Lawrence about 4 p.m.
