The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and its Young Professionals Network will conduct a luncheon and panel discussion Wednesday, “Transferring Leadership: What Today’s Baby Boomer Leaders Can Share about Career Success and the Transfer of Leadership.”

The event is set for 11:30 a.m. at the Lied Center. The event is open to members of the chamber and the Young Professionals Network. Cost is $10, which includes lunch.

Scheduled panelists include Cathy Hamilton, of BoomerGirl.com; Marty Kennedy, of Kennedy Glass; Hank Booth, of KLWN; Judy Billings, of the Lawrence Convention and Visitors Bureau; and Joe Ryan, of Sunflower Broadband.

Panelists will be asked to discuss how they have enjoyed successful careers in Lawrence, and what advice they can share with younger generations.
