Pet Minders, a Lawrence-based business that provides pet sitting, dog walking and transportation services for household pets, has expanded its operations into Eudora.

Having hired a Eudora resident as a pet sitter, Pet Minders now can meet demand for services there without having to cover added expenses for fuel and mileage, said Leslie Soden, Pet Minders owner and founder.

Pet Minders allows household pets – fish, birds, mice, lizards, bunnies, cats or dogs – to remain in their homes while an owner is away on vacation. Pet Minders personnel offer to check on pets, feed them, let them outside or take them on walks.
