Westar praise
To the editor:
Westar is to be commended for their farsighted decision to expand their capacity with a major commitment to wind power. A balance of generation capacity certainly makes good sense since fossil fuels will increase in cost and concerns about global warming will likely call for carbon dioxide controls. This investment in clean energy should save us consumers money in the long run.
