Topeka ? The Free State High boys swimming team took third Wednesday at the Topeka West Invitational.

Firebird senior Mitch Moore took first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 56.17. He also placed second in the 50-yard freestyle and qualified for state in both events.

Freshman Nolan Frank’s 59.10 in the 100-yard backstroke netted him second place and qualified him for state.
