Fire department plans holiday fundraiser
The Sarcoxie Township Fire Department is planning a Holiday Arts and Crafts Bazaar on Saturday at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds.
The event, which benefits the southeastern Jefferson County fire department, will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
As part of the bazaar, volunteer firefighters and paramedics from the department will sell food, including chili, biscuits and gravy, pies, cakes and sandwiches.
