Eight-year-old seeks Big Brother

David, age 8, hopes that a mentor will volunteer soon to be his Big Brother through the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Douglas County program.

One of 94 children on the Big Brothers Big Sisters waiting list, David is an active boy whose favorite part of school is recess. He likes to be outdoors, play football, go fishing, ride bikes and go skateboarding. David is very mechanically inclined and especially loves to build go-carts and ride them.

On cold or rainy days, he passes the time by playing video games.

David also has a talent for storytelling. He says that he would really like a Big Brother who will listen to his stories, romp around outside with him on nice days and play video games with him on gloomy days.
