Marci Stanwix, of Owens Flower Shop, Lawrence, recently completed an Everyday Design class conducted by Teleflora at its Education Center in Oklahoma City.

Stanwix participated in four days of intensive hands-on design sessions, mastering the latest in creating designs with fresh flowers and foliage.

Owens Flower Shop also recently was recognized as a Top 500 Member of FTD for 2006.

FTD, with about 20,000 shops in North America and more than 45,000 worldwide, has recognized Owens as a Top 500 shop for 13 of the past 15 years.
