Chamber luncheon planned for Dec. 4

The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce will conduct the Kansas Bioscience Leadership Forum, the final edition of the organization’s Bioscience Speaker Series, at noon Dec. 4 at Maceli’s, 1031 N.H.

The luncheon event is scheduled to feature speakers – all state legislators – who have been involved with the development of biosciences initiatives in the state. Panelists will take questions from the audience.

Scheduled panelists include:

R-Hugoton, Senate president.

¢ Rep. Melvin Neufeld,

R-Ingalls, speaker of the House.

¢ Sen. Anthony Hensley,

D-Topeka, minority leader.

¢ Rep. Dennis McKinney,

D-Greensburg, minority leader.

¢ Sen. Nick Jordan,

R-Shawnee.

¢ Rep. Kenny Wilk, R-Lansing.

Cost is $20 for chamber members and $25 for others.
