Puny clash
To the editor:
“Jayhawks gobble Tigers” or “Tigers maul Jayhawks.” In the eternal scope of things, the outcome of Saturday’s “clash of titans” is rather puny. Our country is bogged down in two wars and the economy is on the precipice of disaster, while most of us continue to fiddle and tailgate. When you are opening that second or third beer Saturday evening during the “border showdown,” consider the ultimate cost of maintaining the “American way of life” and our individual role in its inevitable collapse. Go Jayhawks!
