Wakarusa Valley Development Inc., a Small Business Administration-certified development company, announces the election of four officers to its Executive Board of Directors, and the hiring of a new loan officer.

Elected during the organization’s annual meeting Nov. 15 were Ed Samp, of UBS, as president; David Bunker, of Sunflower Bank, as vice president; David Clark, of Lawrence Bank, as secretary; and Calla Haggard, of Community National Bank-Topeka, as treasurer.

Leaving the board, each after more than a decade of service, were Gina Baun, of Douglas County Bank, former president; and Vickie Randel, of First State Bank & Trust, former secretary.

Katie Bandy recently joined the organization as a loan officer.
