Public comments on health issues sought
Kansas Department of Health and Environment Secretary Roderick Bremby and other agency officials will seek public comment from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday during a meeting at Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 W. 27th St.
The meeting will be to discuss issues related to health and environment. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Bremby’s office said he will not be able to discuss in depth his recent decision to deny permits for two coal-fired plants in western Kansas because the decision has been appealed.
