Blintz details

Thank you for covering the Lawrence Jewish Community Center’s 44th annual Blintz Brunch on Nov. 4. So many people attended we will have to make extra blintzes for a few patrons who arrived after we sold out. We will have to increase our blintz production this summer to about 4,000 for next November’s Blintz Brunch.

We did want to correct some minor misinformation in the article. Our hot blintzes are made from cottage cheese, eggs and sour cream. We have three kinds of frozen blintzes: cheese, spinach, and potato. They are not like dumplings, more like crepes, and we do not put a fruit sauce on spinach blintzes. Several folks have commented about those details. Thanks again for the article and the great photo.
