Lawrence residents Carole Chavarria and David Owens have joined the staff at Prosoco Inc., a Lawrence-based manufacturer of products for cleaning, protecting and maintaining concrete, brick and stone architecture.

Chavarria, company receptionist, handles phone- and front-desk contacts, and provides company-wide administrative support. She recently moved to Lawrence from San Diego, where she worked as the executive assistant to the senior director of facility services at the Salk Institute, a biosciences research company in La Jolla, Calif.

Owens, product support specialist, helps customers select products, from explaining how Prosoco cleaners and protective treatments work to ensuring that orders get to their intended destinations. Owens previously served as general manager of Southwest Mill Supply Co., a manufacturer in Kansas City, Mo.
